Next Monday the 21st of October, from 15:00 to 19:00, we will have a surprise visitor at Henk Comics Amsterdam!! Kazuo Maekawa, a professional manga artist from Tokyo, best known for his work on Ace Attorney will be at our store for a signing. Kazuo Maekawa Sensei won the Kodansha Chiba Tetsuya Award in 1996. He made his debut as a manga artist in Kodansha Ltd’s Young Magazine in 1997. Since then, he has published comics from a number of publishers. “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney” and “Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth”. These have been translated and sold all over the world!
Come to Henk Comics in Amsterdam next Monday for a sketch and a chance to meet this great artist! Perhaps you can ask him about the art of making manga and his experiences as a manga artist in Japan. It will be an honor to have him as a guest at our store and big thanks to our friends @thebigdrawnederland for arranging this!
